Energy star has introduced the new Version 3 from the Version 2. This new version has people attached to the energy star program in a mad frenzy with all the confusion and regulatory requirements that are now in place, causing many to back out of the Energy Star Program.
Some of the factors relevant to the drop of use in the Energy Star program is due to the housing crash in 2009 but the main issue revolves around what Energy Star used to be and what it now has become. This article argues for the basic reasons of reverting back to some of the benefits provided to the users in the Version 2 and not in the Version 3.
